Organizing blitz in Seattle Washington ( local 46)

Hi everyone,

Just finished a 2-day organizing blitz in Local 46. What a good time we had. I love the comradery of the BROTHERHOOD. We as the IBEW have lost alot of that brotherhood type of thinking and we need to fight to keep it alive. It is what our union is about......more on this subject later! Many of our brothers and sisters from many other locals got together this week and knocked on doors of un-represented electrical workers in hopes to relay the message that we are not the enemy. We are people just like them, who have families and have needs, and want to protect them. It was a great experience for myself and look forward to taking it back to our roots. Henry Miller knocked on doors and started a movement that we know today as the IBEW. We need to follow in the footsteps of our founding fathers and keep our rights alive as skilled craftsmen!

Fraternally yours,
Ben Malczewski
